The Wii is not HD like the PS3 or Xbox360 its still a fast way to get a better picture with minimal costs.
Controller Docking Stations
If you’re a hardened gamer like myself you will notice that the Wii Controllers have a real appetite for AA batteries. There are many docking stations for Wii controllers that replace the standard alkaline batteries for rechargeable ones. The Wiimotes simply charge up whilst not in use making sure that when you come to play you’re not left feeling flat.

GameCube Controller
If you plan on making use of the Wii’s backwards compatibility then the Gamecube controller is a must, they can be picked up on eBay for next to nothing. You can even buy the cordless Wavebird controller for wire free gaming.
SD Memory Card
The Wii is only supplied with a small 512mb SD card, it’s not a huge issue if you only play a couple of games but you can soon fill the card up with multiple game saves. I personally purchased a couple of 2gb cards just in case I run out of space, it’s a low cost add on and definitely worthwhile.
Infra-red Sensor Bar
The Wii comes with a infrared sensor bar but it makes sense to purchase a spare, they’re not built with strength in mind and can become easily damaged, i have a pet rabbit who chewed through the cable! I had to wait a week for a replacement! Save yourself from boredom and buy a spare sensor bar.
Wii Points Game Card
The Wii points system is one of the best features of the Wii, it allows you to purchase classic games from the old Nintendo Platforms. My personal favorites are Super Mario World and Mario Kart (SNES). You can buy Wii Points online or buy prepaid Wii points cards. The current rate is 100 Wii Points per US Dollar.
Guitar Hero or Rock Band
Whilst not necessarily an accessory, Guitar Hero and Rock Band are probably the best Wii games out there at the moment. Either one of these games are an absolute necessity! Please go and buy this game, you will not be disappointed.

im trying to trade my Xbox 360 for a PS3 on craigslist and the guy says he wants the xbox 360 to be compatible with this flashed drive so he can play backup copies of games and DVDs. i dont know what any of that means, but my xbox is the older version, with the HDMI slot, but it has the component a/v cords and ive been told those act as an HDMI. if anyone knows, is the flashed drive compatible with my xbox?

In my gaming setup i have a ps3 surround sound amp backup battery’s 2 22″ lcd monitors around a 32″ tv gaming computer and other electronic devices that make the room to hot. The room has a ceiling fan and i play with the windows open… Ive considered water cooling my computer but that wouldn’t help with the other things, is there any way possible to make the room cooler while playing? the room is about 20ft by 20 ft

My Ps3 got the YLOD yesterday, and it is out of warranty. My problem is that I want to keep my game saves and other media so I can play them on my new Ps3 that I get in a week. However, the old PS3 will not turn on, so therefore i cannot backup my game saves. Also, I have learned that other Ps3′s will not recognize a hard drive it itself has not formatted. Is there any way to back up the files on the hard drive without having to use a PS3? I was thinking about using a hard drive enclosure and connecting that to the new Ps3, but I do not know if that will work. The data on the hard drive is critical, and it is very important that I can keep this data. Any tips will be happily welcomed. I have done some research on various forums and sites, but none have told a way to do it without a PS3. Thank You

I had the MFBLYOD too, the only way that you can save the precious game saves and media is to rip the old HDD out and put it in your desktop comuter via a SATA cable, this does unfortunatly mean, if you don’t have a custom PC (where you can plug the HDD straight into your computer while keeping it together) you are pretty much going to have to take your PC to bits and put in another SATA cable and wire that up to your PS3 HDD as well as your computer HDD, it is a lot of hassle and i didn’t think it was worth it as sometimes the HDD can be virused which can lead to the YLOD and i didn’t want to take that chance when i got YLOD… sorry guys
Sony will repair it for a fee of £95 where they MAY be able to keep the game saves etc on it, however this can take up to a month and a half to get fixxed, you can also get a refurbished console from sony for £150 within a few days… its up to you…

and of course, all of the tricks and secrets of getting up the leaderboards in each different game type, whether it be time or score, etc.
Finally theres the added bonus of being in a clan of all rounders that are very strong, and having that backup whenever you need it.
